President: Eric Godfrey

Eric Godfrey - started working as a DJ/Emcee in 1982. He DJ’ed his first wedding at age 16 and has been doing it ever since. Eric is the Business Manager of Starz Entertainment where he supervises a staff of 18 DJ’s and Karaoke hosts and 6 support personnel. Honesty, Integrity and Professionalism are the foundation that Eric has built his business upon. Training and Development are his number one priorities in creating a new generation of DJ’s with the skills to read a crowd, interact fluidly with guests and vendors, and provide unique and fun emcee services.

Eric graduated from Villanova University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and TV Programming, Bachelor of Science in Naval Science and a minor in Computer Science.. He served 6 years as an officer in the US Navy serving all over the world. This allowed him to DJ weddings in 11 different countries and 4 different continents for his fellow service members. After the military, Eric continued his part time DJ career while achieving numerous computer and software certifications. He left his career as an IT Director to pursue building Starz Entertainment full time in February of 2003.

Vice President: Mark Sanchez

Mark Sanchez - started his DJ career at the age of 21 at Phoenix area night clubs in the mid- 1980s. With his knowledge of music, high energy, and ability to entertain, Mark was able to fill rooms at many popular places like Bobby McGee''s where he spent most of his night club career. He was one of the valleys very first Karaoke hosts in 1989 at a restaurant called Charlie Browns in Tempe.

1990 he performed his first wedding reception, and found his true passion as a wedding entertainer. Through out the 90''s Mark worked for a reputable mobile DJ service in Phoenix primarily as a DJ / MC for weddings. Today Mark is a full time owner / operator of Professional Mobile Entertainment specializing in wedding ceremonies and receptions. Now with over 1500 events as a mobile entertainer and his wealth of knowledge of the business he also enjoys helping other Disc Jockey''s start and build their careers as mobile entertainers.

Secretary: Bill Limbach

Bill Limbach - has been a Professional DJ for many years. Starting out as a radio DJ back in 1980, Bill began performing mobile DJ events for various radio stations and soon developed his own entertainment service in 1986. Eventually, his company grew into a multi-op business covering the outer suburbs of Chicago. In 1994 his family relocated to the Phoenix area. For the past 13+ years, he has operated as a single owner-operator, focusing on the wedding market and providing couples with personalized service and the attention to detail they deserve.

His company; "Bill Limbach, The DJ for You" has performed at well over 1,000 events in the past 20 yrs. On a personal note, Bill and his wife are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this year and have 2 grown children. As a board member of the AZADJA, Bill believes the education of fellow mobile DJs to continue developing their skills as well as providing above average service are the keys to success. The ADJA plays an important part in raising the bar for our industry.

Treasurer: Robert Wilson

Robert Wilson - Robert, our Treasurer of the chapter, has been a mobile disc jockey for the past 11 years. Robert and his wife, Phyllis, work as a DJ Duo and are adept in coordinating and planning wedding ceremonies and receptions, anniversary, holiday and dance parties. Their dancing and musical background enables them to understand beats and tempo and they have one of the most comprehensive dance libraries in the business. Providing excellent service and music is their goal.

Member At Large: Curtis Whipple

Curtis Whipple - had the privilege of introducing a live appearance of Arizona TV legends “Wallace and Ladmo” at a retail promotion at his dad’s store in Winslow AZ at his first event in 1979. The experience sparked his imagination and his passion and it became the beginning of a 29 career that has produced great personal satisfaction, fond memories and lots of fun for countless brides and grooms, families and event attendees.

He has played at weddings, Grand Openings and other retail promotions, singles mixers, school carnivals and corporate events. There have been nearly 100 appearances with the Laker Girls around southern California. There have been 35 Wild Oats/Henrys Market Grand Openings all over the U.S. He has Emceed nearly 1000 weddings in the finest hotels, historic buildings, grand churches, on mountaintops, beside streams and beaches, private golf clubs and fabulous resorts.

Based in Mesa, Arizona, he provides professional service anywhere in the Southwestern United States.
