Andy is the youngest member of the Chicagoland ADJA and at only 17 years old, the future is bright for this High School Junior.  Andy currently attends Neuqua Valley High School in Suburban Chicago with 4500 students.  He had his start as a DJ two years ago at the ripe age of 15 and quickly discovered his passion; mixing music. Andy loved performing and would spend up to 4 hours at a time practicing scratching and beat mixing technique.

Andy also has a great understanding of the business side and is currently writing a business plan for his company, Jolt Entertainment, in his entrepreneur class.  He will continue with his dream of building his business when he graduates in 2011 and attends Depaul University to major in entrepreneurship.

Andy dreams of putting on large events with big lighting, big sound and video.  He currently does not have an interest in performing at weddings but they may change as he gets older.

He invests in his business with a website (http://napervilledjs.com/) and top quality gear including Mackie Speakers, a Macbook and Serrato.

Andy joined the ADJA in the spring of 2009 after meeting the current Chicago ADJA Membership Director “Kaptain Karaoke” Charlie Caron at a chance meeting.  Charlie saw a young man passionate about being a DJ and invited him to a meeting.  Andy attended, became a member, and attended his first conference this past summer at the ADJA Empowering your Dreams in Chicago.

Andy loves being part of the Chicago ADJA.  It lends credibility to his business which has allowed him the confidence to raise his rates and network with the same DJs that he wants to emulate with his business.

Andy Marsh will be a star in the Chicago market.  At 17, he is mature beyond his years and focused.  And even though the only media he has ever touched is an Mp3, he truly understands that education and networking are just as valuable as mixing.
